The race last year was well organized starting on time and having efficient transportation to the start line. After the race there is a big party where everyone gets a free beer while they enjoy the awards ceremony. Want to bring the kids? This is the race for you. If you have kids there is a free kids race after the race too! Spike's Treats (Our sister and brother-in-law's natural pet food shop, located adjacent to the finish) is also sponsoring a petting zoo for the kids. All kids participating in the kids race will receive a free kids meal from Chipotle. This year's race will be held on Sunday March 11 and starts at 8 a.m.. With a net elevation drop, the course is fair but challenging and fast times can be run if you don't go out too fast.
Registration is just $35 and includes a race shirt, beer ticket, and transportation up to the start line. All participants will also receive a voucher for a free Chipotle burrito and every 10th finisher will get a free ice cream from Sweet Republic. This is definitely a very runner friendly race. All profits from the race go back into the Arizona running community. Profits are given back to runners or groups of runners in the form of grants. See last year's grant winners. The race ends at the famous fountain in Fountain Hills and has a huge park area where the post race party will be head. For a great race during a great time of year please consider the Mountain to Fountain 15k as one of your Spring races.
